Four Ways to Support Your Library (That Won’t Cost You a Dime)

  1. Goodsearch: Register at, and search for “Friends of the Columbia County Library.” Every time you use Goodsearch to find things on the internet, a tiny amount of money will go to Friends. You can also use Goodsearch to get discounts at your favorite online retailers. It’s a win-win.
  2. Amazon Smile: Go to and designate “Friends Of The Columbia County Libraries” as your selected charity. Every time you shop through, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price eligible items.
  3. Donate books, DVDs, or CDs: When you give your unneeded books, DVDs, or CDs to the Friends of the Columbia County Libraries, your donation does good in two ways. Some items are added to the libraries’ collections to enhance our selection or replace worn copies, and other donations are sold to support the computer classes, Summer Reading Program, and other library services.
  4. Share: This might be the easiest way of all to help your library. Follow the Columbia County Library, Euchee Creek Library, Harlem Library, Burke County Library, Lincoln County Library, and Warren County Library on Facebook, and share our events, services and articles. Our mission is to serve the communities in the Greater Clarks Hill Regional Library System, and the more people know about what we have to offer, the better job we can do.
