Lynn Edwards

In 1991, she asked herself, “How much can a woman really do?” Lynn answered her own question by completing Ironman Triathlons at age 69 and again at age 70. Since then she stays fit by: running in road races and triathlons, touring on her bike at home and abroad, hiking, and swimming along with consistent weight training and stretching exercises. Lynn continues to give herself the ultimate challenge by completing a marathon in every state. For fifteen years she had offered her Fit for Life class: motivating seniors, focusing on weight training, cardio conditioning, balance and flexibility. Members learn it is possible to upgrade their health and strength at any age. Lynn’s philosophy is “Our bodies were designed to move so let’s keep them moving; let’s go for the long, active life, rich in energy for the good times. If I did it, anyone can do it.”
